YAY! I finally remembered my password! Go Me! I seriously need to keep up with this blog and I will start by renovating it. It needs a new theme/color scheme. After I do that I am kind of craving Peanut Butter Crunch Cereal...it's also my first milk craving in this pregnancy.
ETA: I am extremely surprised at all the women on my home board. You would not believe how many of them are disappointed that they are having the opposite gender than they wanted. I get being a little sad about it but it being so bad that they cry for days on end and feel "detached" is beyond me. I think that they should just be happy that they have healthy babies and the gender shouldn't be that big of a deal to them. I understand wanting one gender but getting another could suck but there was one woman that was seriously depressed over finding out she was having a boy. She kept thinking she was having girl and she even bought bows, dresses, pink stuff, and every time she felt "down" or "depressed" she would cheer herself up by buying girly things. When she found out it was a boy she nearly flipped a lid claiming that it couldn't be a boy (or something along those lines) and how she couldn't believe that she was having a boy after buying all those girly things.
....People, you DO realize that gender is 50/50? You get what you get not what YOU want. I seriously can not believe that a mother would be so selfish to think that the gender of their baby is more important than the health and growth rate of their baby. BE HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU GOT! BEING PREGNANT IS A BLESSING AND IT IS SELFISH OF YOU TO BE THAT DISAPPOINTED IN THE GENDER OF YOUR BABY. There are millions, possibly more, of women that would LOVE to conceive but can't and yet here you women are bitching about how you didn't get the gender YOU WANTED. Y'all should be HIGHLY ashamed of yourselves! BE HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU ARE BLESSED WITH! I just hate how many threads I see on my home board about women that are "so disappointed" in what gender they are blessed with. Get a grip it's not about you anymore! It's about that little one growing in your stomach..."you" pretty much went out the window when you got pregnant.
Ok I'm done ranting and raving.

I look forward to reading your rants and updates. I totally get what you're saying. I remember the same thing happening on our board and I was always so mad.
It bothers me so much that people care more about the gender of their baby than the health. If my little monkey would've been the opposite sex I would've have been the least bit sad/disappointed/depressed. I'd just be happy for having a healthy baby.
